Hearing Aid Repair
Advanced Instruments is equipped to diagnose and repair malfunctioning hearing aids. Some repairs can be resolved on site. More serious issues can be resolved by a local repair facility or by the original manufacturer. The average hearing aid user will replace their instruments every 4-5 years. Your specialist will help you decide if repairing your instruments of replacing them will be best for your hearing system. As processors become smaller and faster, improvements in hearing aid technology improve as well. A trial evaluation of newer technology may help you decide if repairing older instruments or replacing them is the right choice for you.
We can service all makes and models of hearing aids. Every attempt will be made to repair and verify the function of the hearing aid before having it serviced at the factory. If it needs to be repaired a loaner hearing aid will be offered. Each hearing aid repair includes a 6 or 12 month warranty.
A new hearing aid comes with a one to three year manufacturers’ warranty against repairs for normal use and a one to three year one-time replacement loss and damage protection plan. The length of your Warranty and Insurance coverage will be explained to you and detailed on your contract. Additional coverage beyond the original repair warranty is available either through the manufacturer or through an independent hearing aid coverage company.
